Surf & Turf is taking shape in Mount Maunganui: reverb-soaked surf rock, grunge energy and a new line-up being built for rehearsals, recordings and live shows.

Surf & Turf is a developing Band Factory project for musicians who want the snap and movement of classic surf rock with a heavier grunge edge.
We are looking for committed players who can rehearse in Mount Maunganui and help shape the set, sound and identity from the beginning.
The direction
Think spring-reverb guitar, driving drums, memorable hooks and enough grit to move beyond a straight revival act. The final sound will grow around the musicians who join.
