YOUR FIRST STAGE IEM
Hear your mix. Keep your focus.
The KZ EDX Pro X is a lightweight wired in-ear monitor with energetic bass, clear vocals and a secure over-ear fit. It is our easy starting point for rehearsals, lessons, live monitoring and a reliable spare in the gig bag.
ONE DRIVER, COHERENT SOUND
A super-linear dynamic driver delivers punchy lows and an easy-to-follow full-range mix.
READY FOR THE STAGE
Over-ear cable routing and passive isolation help the earpieces stay secure while you play.
BUILT TO KEEP GOING
A detachable 0.75 mm two-pin cable can be replaced instead of replacing the whole set.
Pick your colour
Same sound and specification in every finish. Choose the colour that looks right on you.
UNDER THE SHELL
One super-linear dynamic driver keeps the mix coherent
A single full-range diaphragm handles the entire signal, avoiding a crossover between different driver types. The result is an uncomplicated, punchy presentation that makes the EDX Pro X a practical first stage monitor.
THE RESPONSE, MADE USEFUL
Rhythm weight with vocal and guitar presence
The response lifts the lows for kick and bass cues, then brings the upper mids forward so vocals, guitars and attack remain easy to follow. A good ear-tip seal matters: a poor seal removes much of that low-frequency support.
Manufacturer measurement shown for comparison. Ear-tip seal, fit, ear anatomy and the source device all affect the response you actually hear.
QUICK ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions
Is the EDX Pro X suitable as a first IEM?
Yes. Its lightweight shell, simple single-driver design and easy power requirements make it a practical first wired monitor.
Do the four colours sound different?
No. Black, Clear, Cyan and Grey use the same acoustic design. Only the finish changes.
Can I replace the cable?
Yes. Use a replacement cable made for a 0.75 mm two-pin KZ connection.
Why does the bass sound thin?
The most common cause is a poor ear-tip seal. Try another supplied tip size and make sure the earpiece sits securely.

Get the seal right first
Almost every complaint about thin or bass-light in-ears is a fit problem, not a driver problem. Work through the three supplied tip sizes until the low end arrives and the room drops away, and wear the cable looped over your ear rather than straight down. If none of the tips seal, foam tips usually will.
