REFERENCE-FOCUSED ALL-BA IEM
Fast detail across the entire arrangement.
The KZ AS16 Pro X places eight balanced-armature drivers in each earpiece—16 across the pair. Its strength is speed, definition and precise placement for performers who need to hear every part of the mix.
8 BA DRIVERS PER SIDE
Dedicated balanced armatures cover low, mid, high and ultra-high frequency ranges.
THREE-WAY CROSSOVER
The electronic crossover and three-channel acoustic duct keep driver groups organised.
HIGH-SENSITIVITY MONITORING
Excellent detail from compatible bodypacks and interfaces—use a clean source and sensible gain.
UNDER THE SHELL
Eight balanced armatures per side, organised by frequency
Dedicated balanced armatures cover low, mid, high and ultra-high bands. A three-way electronic crossover and three-channel acoustic duct keep those groups working together—useful when you need fast transients and separation in a dense stage mix.
THE RESPONSE, MADE USEFUL
Reference detail with a clear presence region
The measured response combines a firm low-frequency foundation with strong vocal and instrument presence. The upper-frequency energy exposes detail, which is valuable for monitoring but also makes a clean, low-noise bodypack or interface important.
Manufacturer measurement shown for comparison. Ear-tip seal, fit, ear anatomy and the source device all affect the response you actually hear.
QUICK ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions
Does AS16 Pro X have 16 drivers in each ear?
No. It has eight balanced-armature drivers per earpiece, making 16 across the pair.
Does an all-BA IEM still produce bass?
Yes. Dedicated balanced armatures cover low frequencies, with an emphasis on speed and control rather than oversized impact.
Why can I hear hiss from some devices?
Its high sensitivity can reveal a noisy wireless pack or headphone output. Use a clean source and manage gain carefully.
Does the upgraded cable change the sound system?
No. Both variants use the same earpieces, driver array and tuning. Only the supplied detachable cable changes.
Prefer more physical low-end impact? Compare the Castor Pro Bass Up. For fit and safe setup, read the Band Factory IEM fit guide.

Get the seal right first
Almost every complaint about thin or bass-light in-ears is a fit problem, not a driver problem. Work through the three supplied tip sizes until the low end arrives and the room drops away, and wear the cable looped over your ear rather than straight down. If none of the tips seal, foam tips usually will.
