TOURING-GRADE HYBRID IEM
Twelve drivers. Full-metal confidence.
The KZ ZS12 Pro X combines one dynamic driver with five balanced-armature drivers in each metal earpiece. Choose fixed factory tuning or the Tuning Switch version when one IEM needs to adapt to different rooms and roles.
6 DRIVERS PER SIDE
A 10 mm dynamic driver supplies body while five BA drivers handle mid, high and ultra-high detail.
FULL-METAL SHELL
The zinc-alloy cavity feels substantial and is built for regular rehearsal and touring use.
FIXED OR ADJUSTABLE
Choose simple Standard tuning or four physical switches per shell—no app required.
Choose your control
Both versions use the same six-driver hybrid platform. The difference is how much adjustment you want.
UNDER THE SHELL
Six drivers per side inside a full-metal shell
A 10 mm super-linear dynamic driver handles the lows while five balanced armatures cover mid, high and ultra-high detail. Electronic crossover and acoustic channels divide the work for speed and separation in technical arrangements.
THE RESPONSE, MADE USEFUL
Fixed simplicity or four-switch adjustment
Standard gives you KZ's fixed factory response. The Tuning Switch version exposes several measured curves, letting one set of monitors adapt to different rooms, instruments or preferences without an app.
Manufacturer measurement shown for comparison. Ear-tip seal, fit, ear anatomy and the source device all affect the response you actually hear.
QUICK ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the Tuning Switch version?
Choose it if you want to adjust the response for different rooms or roles. Standard gives you the same driver system with a fixed setup.
How is ZS12 Pro X different from ZS10 Pro X?
ZS12 adds one BA driver per side, a full-metal shell and an optional tuning-switch system.
Can I change the switches while wearing the IEMs?
Remove them first. Use the supplied tool carefully and make the same adjustment on both earpieces.
Is the metal shell heavy?
It is more substantial than resin, but the ergonomic shell and over-ear cable distribute the weight securely.

Get the seal right first
Almost every complaint about thin or bass-light in-ears is a fit problem, not a driver problem. Work through the three supplied tip sizes until the low end arrives and the room drops away, and wear the cable looped over your ear rather than straight down. If none of the tips seal, foam tips usually will.
